FAI, FAO, FLA, and QUA

In-depth review

Base descriptions:

FAIWWWW - Fade in with direction W.

FAOWWWW - Fade out with direction W.

FLA - Flash the screen white.

QUAWWWW - Shake the screen for W ticks.

FAO will fade out the screen in white while FAI will fade the screen back in.

The argument inserted determines the direction it fades:

0000[left]

0001[up]

0002[right]

0003[down]

0004[center]

*Something intresting to note, the game starts out on a white screen, which is removed by the FAI command.

Meaning, if your "New Game" starting event does not have a FAI, then the game will be a white screen.

FLA, normally flashes the screen white.

But there are ways to make the FLA command flash different colors.

More on that, here.

QUA, read the base description...

It pretty much explains it...
